FUBAR: a often used abbreviation when you want to say 'it all' but can't.
Well folks today after spending several hours on my taxes, I thought FUBAR. I have been doing my own taxes for several years, and, this year the tax laws are FUBAR! The only explanation is King Obama's interference with enabling the IRS to make, alter and break laws. Apply those to Income Taxes, IRA's, TSA, blah, blah, blah! If any of us had done this we would be serving time in federal prison. One time the ex insisted on paying an accountant $200.00 to do what I had just done. Lo and behold....the $200 we paid shortened our refund by $200.00. Hmm.
Am not surprised that H&R Block commercials say 'we' leave a billion dollars in unclaimed federal refunds. This year I actually believe that claim.
There used to be a commercial several years ago that showed an IRS rep throwing documents into a gorilla's cage. Said ape jumped around his cage, ripped shredded, put back together and returned the document. The message? Are IRS laws to convoluted? This year? Hell YES!!!!
I may just have to go to H&R to file my taxes for 2013:(
