Another charmer:
Did you know another word for "charming" is "sociopath"? (see http://www.wikihow.com/Determine-if-Someone-Is-a-Sociopath) Where was I during this lecture for Psych? I'll bet that everyone of us has encountered a charmer at least once in our lives and not been able to identify them until much later. Be wary.
I was talking with a charming gentleman who during the course of our conversation revealed that he was a "truth seeker." "how so?", I asked. He said he reads everything he can on reporting during different eras in history. Including philosophy, medicine, finances, church records, etc. Then determines what truth is. Truth seeking? Hmm. Then he asked for my number. no, thanks. One charmer in my life was quite enough;) Been there, done that, have the 25 t-shirts to prove it.
Now my blessing:
Had dinner and a long visit with Cyn. She's doing ok since the loss of her SO Joe. We talked about family, politics, feelings, school, finances, travels, and food.
She's in school for massage and is having test anxiety. Gave her my A&P coloring book. It really helped me in college:) Guess that's why I carried that book around with me for 30 years.
We laughed at our past situations. Thanked God they are behind us and pray we keep our eyes open to avoid those "things" again.
