This small, pink drill is much better than using a screwdriver. Saved me a ton of time,
to do this:
Six feet of shelves. Now have almost as many shelves as I need for my books. Have given away several, but these old friends are a treasure. Some are sets, some are NM or New Spain genealogy, some are signed by the author, lots of crochet or other needle work, and old cook books that you just can't find THE recipe of favorite dishes.
I would stop and read a small portion of some of these old treasures & was sorely pressed to continue unpacking boxes. But, finally finished & took all those boxes to recycle.
Today my daughter unloaded the rest of the book boxes for me. I had been driving around with the last of these boxes since emptying out my storage unit. I can finally put up my back seats up & put the headrests in. Whew! Now have to finish unpacking those boxes.
I was reading Small Miracles (a collection) by Yitta Halbertsam & Judith Leventhal when my brother died. The reason I know this is because I found a Memory Card given out during the funeral service. Had used the card to mark a story. Coincidence? Don't think so. Memories of my brother flooded my brain.
My pink tool "box" :)
Also finished a large afghan for a gift.
Liked the pattern for a spiral hat:

Took an old picture to Picture Perfect for restoration. The pic was taken in 1936, I think. It's a pic of neighbors to Grandpa Julian, but my Mom is in the middle of it. She looks to be about 5 y/o. Cost? $60.00 plus other fees. Will take an even older picture if they do a good job of this one.
Last Tues I met Lydia & Antoinette at the museum to view the Spanish Collection dated from 1492-1898. Impressive. Took us 3 hours. Then we went to the Dog House for a late lunch. The dogs are still pretty good.
Spoke with cousin Connie for an hour last night. Another family connection. We're meeting Mon for lunch. Will probably talk 4+ hours when we meet.
Next week will start meeting with family members again. More treasures to add to our family history.
With all this, who needs a job? :))
Also sent a box of 'stuff'' to the ex. Right thing to do? Yes.
Have a blessed day.
