I may have 2 trees and definitely more lights next year. God willing. I love Christmas!!!
My prayers for my new church were confirmed yesterday. The Pastor preached on The Blood washing us clean, against kingdom now theology and "give to get" tithing. So....I have a new church family:)
My Grandkids came over Sat for a belated Christmas celebration. Feel sorry for them because they are in the stage of their lives where the Christmas family rounds have to be met. That was so annoying for me until I put my foot down and told some relatives that my kids were going to have Christmas at home. This is the scarf I made for the g-g-daughter. Along with a Butterfly necklace and an Ocarina. She twirled the scarf around her neck like Mae West:)) Too cute. Then I showed her how to play the Ocarina. She danced around the room while playing a song. Can't tell what the song was but it definitely made sense to her.
This is a pic of my Auntie Alice & sister Char. We went to visit Auntie in the NSH. She is very happy there. Says she has people her own age. No hassle living. Eats when she's hungry, "the food is very good except for not enough beans and chili." So my sis, who makes the best chili in the family takes her an occasional bowl of beans and chili with either tortillas or sopapillas. Yum

Isn't it funny how most older people don't like to were their dentures? But eat just fine. Most say they don't want to ruin the taste of the food. Makes sense to me.
Char and I spent Friday doing some after Christmas shopping done. Then went to her house to eat posole and watch Brave.
Saturday went to my storage for more junk. Really for yarn. Ended up buying another shelving unit and have spent most of today sorting stuff.

These are the ducks that got lost during migration and have taken up residence in our complex. Beautiful. Hope they nest later on. Would like to see some ducklings later in 2014.
Tomorrow need to shop for menudo fixings to bring in the new year. Traditions, ya'll. Will make a meatless version for son-in-law.
Wish I could make my Grandpa's tortillas. They were the bomb;)
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!! God's blessings rain down on you! An may obamacare be declared Null and Void;)
That's a nice photo of your balcony! :)
