Passing time & getting pampered

So my friend Oli gave me 2 doll heads & a crochet pattern to make these decorative potholders. She said one was for me & one for my daughter. My daughter picked the doll head with the dimples. Cute, no? Was great to create something that didn't require an advanced level & looks cute. I could never maste pom-poms. But with Oli's simple instruction----walla! A pom-pom is born;)



A friend that has had 2 hip replacements said, "Good luck cutting your toe nails." Boy (or girl) was she ever right! So I went to a local shop & had a simple pedicure. Felt great to have my toenails cut & my feet scrubbed. That's another thing that is hard to do: scrub your feet. I'm told that will be easier when my hip is flexible enough.
